Quality Assurance Engineer This is a new opportunity for DFW Airport. The customer w ould like the new employees to be located at our office in Plano, TX and able to go in when needed by the client. Location: Plano, Texas. Work from home flexibility with the occasional DFW Airport meeting. The salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 will be based on technical experience and technical interview. Responsibilities/Skill Sets Testing, delivery, and troubleshooting of web-based application. QA Methodology Adherence to Process/Standards Experience in a variety of delivery models, including Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall Requirements Ambiguity Analysis Creation of test documentation, including testing processes, procedures, and results Verification/analysis of Requirements and Business Rules Emulation of the user process, perspective, and sensitivities to evaluate user experience Tracking and reporting of test metrics for all team test efforts Test Effort Estimation Familiar with various technologies, including but not limited to; Unix, SQL, Informatica, and Business Objects. Strong SQL and ETL testing experience is required Experience testing web services Experience testing mobile apps - Android and IOS. Excellent communicator Flexible and adaptable to a wide range of tasks and approaches Strong, self-driven work ethic with the capability to be reliably and productive in a hybrid work environment Required Experience: Bachelor's degree and 5 years' QA Engineering experience Strong knowledge of Oracle Financial 5 years of APPIAN (business process management) experience VPN Experience Various custom web-based applications (Java, .Net, PHP and HTML) API and Mulesoft services testing Exposure to DB tools: Toad for Oracle/ PL SQL Developer Required Education and Certifications: ISTQB / ASTQB Certification or equivalent Testing Tools: ALM, Bugzilla, TestRail, JIRA, Rally, VersionOne Programming Languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, XML, VB, Java, C, C++ BI Tools: Tableau, Spotfire (BI Reports), Business Objects, Crystal Reports Utility & Tools: Web Services, MicroStrategy, SOAPUI Data Modeling: MS Excel, MS Access Benefits Overview: Full-time employees are offered comprehensive and competitive benefits package including paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, health insurance, life insurance, military leave, training, tuition reimbursement, a wellness program, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) retirement plan with company matches/immediate vesting, commuter benefits, and more.
