We are a rapidly growing personal injury law firm seeking a full-time Paralegal with at least 3 years of pre-litigation PI experience. This position will include managing cases through treatment until they are ready for demand, writing the detailed demand letter itself, and negotiating for a settlement. Our ideal Paralegal will have the desire to help others, a knack for details, and be able to work both individually and with a team to achieve the best results for clients. Responsibilities:• Organize and manage client files from intake to settlement• Assist with tracking medical providers and ordering records and bills• Review medical records and bills, and verify all records have been obtained• Update adjusters and clients regarding case status, and handle some new client intake calls• Draft personal injury demand letters Qualifications: • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills• At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting• Strong oral and written communication skills• ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired• 3 years or more of Personal Injury experience• Ability to learn, grow, and be part of a team committed to doing a great job• Knowledge of Needles case management software is not required but is a plus• Experience writing personalized demand letters is not required but is a plus• Negotiation experience is not required, but is a plus!
