OVERVIEW Lumity is looking to hire Benefits Consultant to join. This is a remote opportunity!Summary: Experienced Employee Benefit Professional responsible for delivering excellence with implementing and supporting a successful Employee Benefit program for Employers and its employees. Success is measured by building and maintaining a strategic and personal relationship with key client decision makers. Initiates, implements and controls the coordination of onboarding companies and post onboard support as the key client relationship contact. Provides support as a Client's content expert responsible for directing and sharing knowledge of Employer's specific plans, processes and relevant information to external and internal business partners. Provides high touch interactions through regular business meetings, phone calls and email with key Vendors, Human Resource and Carrier contacts. Provides the management team status updates critical to each business relationship. Benefit Plan professional who recognizes the importance of Diversity, Inclusion and Bias elimination to support business partners and it's employees in a supportive and professional manner.RESPONSIBILITIESClient Management * Respond to all inquiries according to internal service level agreements * Serve as client's valued advisor, building a strategic and personal relationship with key client decision makers and assigned personnel. Requires scheduling and attending all required meetings with focused attention that instills confidence in our ability to manage and retain their business. * Conduct final QA on all materials presented to clients. * Educate clients on applicable legislation and market trends. * Immediately escalate any issue where PHI or PII may be at risk. * Sends weekly communications bulletin provided by the marketing team. * Attend all cross functional meetings as an active participant and proactively follows through on group related issues that need to be addressed. Adheres to internal service levels required for each issue. * Performs all duties as expected regarding client support, retention goals and performance targets related to all assigned groups. * Utilized internal systems to document and manage new client implementation processes. Responsible for ensuring all group documentation is maintained as changes occur. * Conduct Post OE, Compliance and Pre-Renewal QBR Strategic meeting as scheduled to meet individual required deadlines. * Closely monitor clients; provide innovative industry solutions in line with clients' business needs and goals. * Actively work with your CS Agent and Operations teams on client issues and have at least bi-weekly meeting individual meetings with assigned CS representatives and CS VP to review all open issues. * Facilitate, in cooperation with the Account Manager, "lunch and learns" and health fairs, as requested. * Assist with obtaining reports and meet with clients regarding fully insured and self-funded claim reports at a quarterly minimum.Renewals * Develop and execute the renewal and/or marketing strategy in accordance with Producers instructions. * Prepare, lead, and coordinate the evaluation of marketing. * Negotiate renewal and competitive proposals with carriers based on client needs. * Manage the renewal marketing process, coordinating with producer to develop proposals and recommendations. * Create client presentations and deliver recommendations to clients as needed. * Accompany producer in making presentations * Control and coordinate the implementation process of renewals, including carrier setup, group meetings, enrollment, submission, and delivery of administrative materials. * Create renewal projects for each client renewal on Insightly and other designated systems. Effectively document and manage tracking of renewal on Insightly and other designated systems.Responsibilities * Coordinate and direct assigned client activities * Develop and document strong understanding of clients' business and strategic priorities * Identify and propose additional services to existing clients * Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and monitor internal deadlines to ensure deadlines are met * Assist producers with achieving new business and retention goals. * Attend seminars, classes, and carrier meetings to keep abreast of new products available for client offering opportunities * Control and coordinate the implementation process of new business, including carrier setup, group meetings, enrollment, submission, and delivery of administrative materials. * Ensure clients are up-to-date on compliance requirements (e.g. ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, SPDs, Form 5500s) through meetings, webinars, legislative updates and other resources. Ensure all Lumity compliance requirements are met. * Liaise between client, carrier and Account Manager on escalated service issues and problem solving while assuring clients their concerns remain active until verifiably complete and confirmed in LBP. * Provide administrative support on other tasks such as assigned special projects, development of new ideas/services and other projects, as requested. * Become proficient in each client's Ben Admin system. * Log activities to document client meetings, carrier follow-up, service issues. Establish follow-up date and daily manage follow-up in Lumity Benefits Portal, Insightly, and other designated systems. * Responsible for ensuring all regulatory filing are completed by deadlineQUALIFICATIONS * 3-5 years experience as Account Manager and/or Benefit Consultant * Experience with both small group and large group renewals * 4 year degree or equivalent work experienceBENEFITSWe offer comprehensive benefits to employees, including medical, dental, STD, LTD and life insurance, 401k, paid time off and much more.We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience.We're an equal opportunity employer.
