Our ideal technician has strong knowledge of pool maintenance and provides excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. You’ll also be answering customers' pool maintenance-related questions in a professional and friendly manner. If this sounds like you, apply today! Responsibilities: • Clean swimming pools and filtration using certified pool equipment• Maintain record of paperwork and services performed• Test pH levels for water quality and add or maintain chemicals levels• Discover and repair leaks or cracks in the pool area’s structure, plumbing, or pipes• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace faulty equipment• Remove and install new underwater lights • Advise customers on best preventative maintenance practices• Skim debris from the water's surface, brush the sides and bottom of the pool, and vacuum dirt and debris from the pool floor• Check and balance chemicals in the pool to maintain proper pH levels• Inspect pool equipment, such as pumps and filters, and report any issues to the supervisor• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backwashing filters and cleaning skimmer baskets Qualifications: • Must have a valid driver’s license• Candidate must be comfortable working in harsh weather conditions• Previous experience as a pool technician and understanding of common pool maintenance techniques, chemicals, and equipment• High school diploma or GED required• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and dexterity are required Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 yearly About Company: Superior Pool Service is a leading pool service company in the Dallas, Fort Worth area.
