Job Summary The Workplace Service Ambassador is responsible for establishing a warm,welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives and staffmembers at all times. Manage and maintain all public areas, the ambassadorwill be the point of contact for reception and executive office. RESPONSIBLITIES:Provide high:level internal and external customer supportRestock office, kitchen, and pantry suppliesPrepare and maintain conference rooms for executive and client meetings, align all furniture to ensure a welcoming look.Set:up all conference rooms for new/continuing meetingsEnsure all trash is cleared at regular intervals of timeMaintain and report all maintenance related reportsGreet and welcome visitors with a smile, maintaining eye contact through the entire interaction.Speak knowledgeably about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants and other points of interestCoordinate luggage drop:off and pick:upEnsure the cleanliness of all open work, lobby, and kitchen areasCoordinate and arrange basic office equipment repairs and maintenanceCarry out instructions for security, fire, health and safety guidelinesProvide first:line support for basic office technologyProvide general administrative supportInterface with vendors (catering, AV, etc.) to provide seamless customer supportRespond to inquiries and anticipate customer needsCommunicate effectively with peers, displaying accuracy and attention to detail both in verbal and written communicationsMaintain a strong awareness of business activity and communicate allupdates with your team membersCommunicate and interact effectively with all other departmentsConduct opening and closing walkthroughs dailyComplete other duties as assigned KEY COMPETENCIES:A genuine sense of hospitality, with a commitment to delivering the Platinum Service(R) StandardThe ability to work under pressure, while constantly interacting with visitors in a public environmentThe ability to prioritize tasks and juggle many jobs simultaneouslyExcellent listening and oral communication skillsBasic computer skills and knowledge of office technology / equipmentPunctual, dependable and dedicated to achieving operational excellence, down to the smallest of detailsDiscreet, ethical and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentialityA consistently professional approach, with a mindset to take ownership and responsibility within and outside one's job domainTwo to three years' experience in a client service / housekeeping / porter or houseman role within a hospitality or corporate environmentThe ability to move and lift conference furniture up to 50 lbs Apply to Flik today Flik is a member of Compass Group USA Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
