OverviewThis position is designed to support PepsiCo manufacturing and warehouse distribution operations worldwide with design administration, project management, vendor governance, and technical standards development concerning physical security applications consistent with the Technical Security Center of Excellence (TSCoE) recommended guidelines, while providing customer service to field associates. Additionally, this position provides support to the PepsiCo Global Security Team with the implementation of Global Security Special Projects, developed to enhance technical security capabilities worldwide. ResponsibilitiesThis position will provide support in the following areas: Enterprise Access Control and Video Surveillance Design/Project Support * Participate in the design, quotation, and construction support phases for electronic access control (EAC) and video management (VMS) systems at PepsiCo manufacturing and warehouse distribution centers across North American. * Provide comprehensive support of the PepsiCo preferred vendor program to achieve financial plan and operational priorities for the TSCoE and field partners. * Collaborate with manufacturers and integrators on issues and find the appropriate solutions. * Serve as liaison for Security Systems Integrators. * Create, support, and update Global Security Policies and other documented processes/standards relating to physical security application and hardware installation. * Assist the TSCoE team with the 24/7 support systems for EAC and VMS. * Contribute to bi-weekly conference calls to discuss process changes and technical issues. * Develop timeline on assigned projects. * Provide support to field personnel through explanation and timely resolution. * Carry out technical design, budgeting, and vendor selection. * Support key customers with ongoing technical support & bid pricing. * Carry out site surveys, in association with integrators where necessary. * Prepare supporting information including but not limited to Schematic Drawings, Layout Plans, Gantt Charts, and As Built Materials as required. * Collaborate with the Procurement Team to negotiate pricing with suppliers and sub-contractors for the equipment and services required. * Prepare scope of work summaries for inclusion in the vendor quoting process.Global Security Special Projects: * Support Special Projects with the identification of advanced technical security applications in the area of associate security awareness, life safety, travel security and activity analytics. * Develop, implement, and test security applications focusing on enhanced security preparedness.Compensation & Benefits: * The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,000 - $100,500 based on a full-time schedule. * Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. * Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. * In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology Preferred * Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Proficient in SharePoint; Smartsheet * Experience with electronic security systems and related hardware * Experience with low voltage systems: physical security systems, life safety, network infrastructure, or related disciplines. * Extensive design and coordination experience working with cross functional teams with owners, architects, and * Experience in managing design engineering efforts. * Experience in developing a design program, instituting collaboration processes, and creating design standards. * Proficient in 2D use of AutoCAD 2018 or later. * Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and evaluate situations. * Demonstrate comfort communicating with all levels of experience within the organization and effectively presenting the needed information to achieve buy in. * Manufacturer's Certification in EAC (Honeywell ProWatch) or the ability to become certified.EEO StatementAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Female / Minority / Disability / Protected Veteran / Sexual Orientation / Gender IdentityIf you'd like more information about your EEO rights as an applicant under the law, please download the available EEO is the Law & EEO is the Law Supplement documents.
