Vineyard Community Church North Texas is in search of a musically-gifted, spiritually-mature, biblically grounded, creative Christian person to lead worship under the submission and direction of the senior pastor and the pastoral team. $25,000 a year minimum, for 20 hours. RESPONSIBILITIES: This person will:~ Assist with the planning and execution of all VCC worship services.~ Demonstrate leadership, creation and execution of Holy Spirit-lead worship for our Sunday service (and any other special services as needed.)~ Shepherd, train, manage and care for our existing worship team.~ Develop a process to regularly recruit and mentor new worship leaders and team members desiring to join the VCC worship team.~ Provide oversight of the sound/media/technical team.~ Oversee the setup and breakdown of all sound, media and technical aspects of the music ministry.~ Attend staff meetings.~ Oversight of Worship & Tech Budget REQUIREMENTS: This person should:~ Recognize he/she is called to worship; not merely a musician leading others.~ Have experience leading worship in the church setting.~ Be sensitive and spiritually in tune with the Holy Spirit.~ Be a true worshiper and regularly lead the team in worship and prayer.~ Have skill as a musician on instrument(s) and voice.~ Have musical proficiency in order to train, assist and grow the team.~ Have a broad knowledge of Christian worship music across multiple styles and generational tastes.~ Have experience leading and managing teams.
