Today, The company is dedicated to meet and exceed the customers' expectations and create an unique experience to our customers with the explosion of Japanese food and culture in America.Benefits:--- Health and Dental Insurance for employees--- Paid vacation and holidaysLocation: Norcross, GAEssential Job FunctionsWarehouse Associate: 50%--- Picks and assembles orders as indicated on the pick list--- Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing accurate and timely assembling--- Stacks and organizes warehouse pallets--- Assists receiving with unloading, stocking, and inventory check in a timely manner--- Coordinates with salespersons to assemble urgent deliveries to customers--- Participates in the weekly warehouse meetings--- Provides logistics support for Company events and functions outside of normal working hours--- Other duties as required from manager--- Obligation to answer to all management as requestedDriver: Interstate delivery 30%Local delivery 20%--- Completes door to door both interstate and local deliveries as needed. For the interstate delivery, drives 26' straight truck on assigned routes with regional delivery (Between Mon - Fri. OFF on weekend) and delivery area across GA, AL, MS, LA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and IL.--- Documents, records, and completes driver log when making deliveries--- Complies with DOT Rules and regulations and safety navigates the Company vehicle--- Makes product deliveries and loads delivery trucks in a timely manner--- Inspects received products for damage and volume accuracy and documents accordingly--- Accurately stocks inventory in the assigned warehouse location and rotates product inventory to maintain a First-IN, First-OUT (FIFO) food storage system--- Partakes in warehouse upkeep and ensures the stockroom is clean and organized--- Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent servicePhysical Requirements--- Able to drive manual transmission (10 speed) truck--- Able to work without sitting for extended periods of time, including standing and walking--- Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently--- Able to handle and move 50+ pounds assisted frequently--- Able to drive for a majority of the daily working hours--- Working Conditionso Noise Level: Loud while indoorsOther Requirements--- Conversational level English required; Business level English preferred.--- Conversational Japanese is a plus--- Has and maintains a valid CDL driver's license and a clean driving record, Class B license is required--- Able to work weekends, holidays, and afterhours as needed--- Maintains a positive attitude--- Works efficiently independently and in a team--- Adapts to frequent changes in assignments and workload--- High school diploma or equivalent required--- Minimum 1 year of general warehousing experience required--- Minimum 2 year of truck driving/delivery experience required--- Willingness to travel: 100% required--- Must be over 21 years old (DOT regulation)Knowledge and Skills--- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail--- Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.--- Has strong communications and interpersonal skills--- Demonstrates awareness of proper warehouse safety procedures--- Forklift training and/or certification preferred--- Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors preferredDisclaimersThis position description is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements.
